Toyota reveals Yaris Trend

In a push to attract more younger customers, Toyota has introduced the Trend to its Yaris range.

The move comes as the carmaker revises the Yaris line-up with some exterior styling and fresher interior finishes.

The car has new appearance packs costing £250 for the TR and SR models, adding alloy wheels and exterior styling elements

The Yaris Trend has been styled in a bid to target younger, design-conscious consumers and is only available in a five door version.

The Trend is priced from £14,570 with Toyota’s best-selling 1.33-litre petrol engine, and comes with either 6-speed manual or Multidrive S automatic transmission.

Since its launch in late 2011, the Yaris racked up sales of 27,151 and this year’s model was unveiled at the Paris motor show last September.

New style designs include the chrome headlamps and the model retains its blacked out B and C-pillars create a floating roof effect, and there are chrome door sills and door mirror covers.

The 16-inch alloy wheels have machine-finished surfaces, and a unique two-tone design. At the rear there is a roof spoiler and LED lamp clusters seen on the Yaris Hybrid.

The 2013 Yaris Trend will be available in Pure White, Tyrol Silver, Burning Red and Decuma Grey.
