Mercedes Benz have announced that their CLS Shooting Brake will cost from £49,360.

It’s a stylish addition to the firm’s line-up with two diesel and one petrol engine options. Though the entry level model is the CLS 250 CDi BlueEfficiency which will return around 53.3mpg. The six cylinder version has a 3.0litre V6 engine which give you 47.1mpg.
I’m guessing though that if I drove the car it wouldn’t return those figures!
Especially if I got behind the wheel of the petrol model which is the flagship CLS 63 AMG and has a 5.5litre V8 engine and returns just 28mpg!
The CLS was launched in 2004 and has sold around 170,000 models around the world. This is the eighth generation of the car and comes with a high spec and was launched in July.
The Shooting Brake can be ordered from next month with deliveries in November.
