The firm says the extra equipment represents cracking value for money and they’ve unleashed a major advertising campaign to highlight its attractive qualities.

Based on Peugeot’s bestselling Active trim level, the Peugeot 208 Style includes a Cielo panoramic glass roof, leather steering wheel and satnav.

Owners can also enjoy a parking aid, new seat trim, Style badging and chrome door mirrors.

In total the new kit is worth more than £1,400 but carries a premium of £750 above the equivalent Active model.

The Peugeot 208 Style comes with a range of engines including the impressive PureTech three-cylinder 1.2litre VTi petrol engine and the 1.4litre HDi stop and Start engine. There’s also the very useful 1.6litre e-HDI engine available too.

Peugeot 208 Style carries on a fine supermini tradition

Essentially, the 208 continues the firm’s long tradition of creating fun and exciting superminis such as the 205, 206 and 207.

Indeed, the Peugeot 208 Style offers a fun and exciting drive with decent handling abilities – it grips the road and the engines are responsive.

The styling and design of the 208 is crisp and, some would say, daring and there’s plenty of standard equipment on board too.
