Diesel Pricing at a Record High

Diesel prices have reached a record high having increase almost 10p per litre in the last 12 months.

The average price per litre now stands at 143.05 pence per litre. This is a disaster for motorists and for fuel retailers and puts thousands of jobs at risk.

We can only hope that chancellor George Osborne will cut the rate of duty on fuel in March as he did last year.

The rising fuel costs has seen many customers opt for our excellent Contract Hire deals on fuel efficient cars such as the Seat Leon Ecomotive , Mercedes C Class Blue Efficiency , Seat Ibiza and many more. These deals are available on Business Contract Hire and Personal Contract hire.  It will be interesting to see what the March budget brings and we can only hope that fuel duty is cut as in my opinion it cannot continue to rise.
