This is the eye-catching Fiat 500X crossover of the popular small car and only 500 models will be made for the UK. Deliveries will begin in May.
It’s available to order now with two distinctive body styles to choose from – the ‘Opening Edition’ version has nearly £3,000 worth of extra kit at no additional cost.
Fiat are making 325 of the ‘City Look’ model – a 4×2 unit – and 175 of their more-rugged looking model which has AWD.

The ‘City Look’ variant is based on the Pop Star and equipment includes 17 inch alloy wheels, cruise control, automatic climate control, body coloured bumpers, front fog lights with cornering illumination and rear parking sensors.
There’s also a ‘Drive Mood’ selector and a 5 inch infotainment system which has Bluetooth connectivity as standard.
Opt for the ‘Opening Edition’ model and buyers will find it has been enhanced with 18 inch alloy wheels, tinted rear windows and a special parcel paint called ‘art grey’.

However the real attraction for this AWD version of the Fiat 500 is that it comes with a variety of packs including a safety pack which has a reversing camera, brake control which will help avoid collisions, blind spot assist and lane assist.
There’s also Fiat’s comfort pack which includes front armrest, ‘keyless go’ and keyless entry and powered lumbar adjustment in the car’s front seats.
Under the bonnet of the Opening Edition is Fiat’s acclaimed 1.4litre MultiAir II which produces 140HP.
The Fiat 500X is undoubtedly priced to sell; the Opening Edition is the same price as the Pop Star and costs from £17,595 with £1,700 worth of extra kit at no additional cost.

Fiat have made the AWD of the 500X more attractive with the more powerful 2.0 MultiJet II engine underneath the bonnet. It’s mated to a nine-speed auto gearbox and will produce 140HP.
Available in just one colour, ‘Amore Red’, this model also comes with lots of extra kit including a visibility pack which has powered door mirrors that fold, light and rain sensors.
In addition, there’s also steering wheel paddle shifters, an adjustable cargo floor, HID headlights and a 3.5 inch TFT colour screen. There’s also a 6.5 inch infotainment green that comes with 3-D satellite navigation – the same system that is fitted as standard on the range topping Cross Plus model.
Prices for the Fiat 500X Opening Edition model start at £25,845 and buyers will enjoy £2,800 worth of extra equipment at no additional cost.
