The Ford EcoSport Active trim has been added to the range offering more versatility and styling.
The Ford EcoSport range has been boosted with the addition of a new Active trim to boost the small SUV’s popularity.
Ford says that customers will now have more choice in the range with enhanced versatility and rugged styling to enjoy.
Prices for the new compact SUV start at £21,645.
The Active trim features unique interior and exterior styling, plus there’s a higher ride height and extra protection.
New Ford EcoSport Active
Equipment for the new Ford EcoSport Active includes rear parking sensors, cruise control and a rearview camera.
There’s also an 8-inch display for the infotainment system that is also smartphone compatible.
The big difference with the Active trim from its siblings is the addition of plastic body cladding and it also has new 17-inch alloy wheels.
There’s also unique upholstery that has leather inserts with blue stitching, and the Active trim features rear privacy glass, a contrasting black roof and black headlamp bezels.
Options for the EcoSport Active
Options for the EcoSport Active include a better stereo system, keyless go and electrically folding door mirrors.
It’s also possible to add the driver assistance pack for safety features including blind spot monitoring, front parking sensors and an automatic high beam function.
There’s just one engine choice, and that’s the firm’s 1.0-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine which develops 93 bhp.
This is coupled to a six-speed manual gearbox and should return around 50mpg.
The new model also comes with a choice of five paint colours.
The Focus Active and the Fiesta Active
The new EcoSport Active will now line up alongside the Focus Active and the Fiesta Active which are available currently.
The latest EcoSport has been designed to meet the needs of customers to reflect their lifestyle and comes with more equipment to deliver better value.
