All-wheel drive Jaguar XF launched

The all-wheel drive Jaguar XF

A revamp of the excellent Jaguar XF has seen the carmaker add all-wheel drive as an option for potential owners.

There’s also a refined 180 PS four-cylinder diesel engine available too which means for those drivers who need it, their Jaguar will offer fuel efficiency and good all-weather performance.

Jaguar says its new diesel engine is the lightest in its class since it is utilising a lot of aluminium architecture. The engine also benefits from a two-year service interval or 21,000 miles.

Underpinning this performance is Jaguar’s Intelligent Driveline Dynamics which has been lifted from its F-Type and boosts traction and the vehicle’s all-wheel drive abilities.

Jaguar XF’s Drive Control system

There’s also an adaptive surface response mode for the Jaguar XF’s Drive Control system which offers even more composure no matter what adverse road conditions the car is asked to deal with.

The car’s dynamics also enables the driver to change the settings for steering, suspension, the transmission and throttle to deliver a specially tailored experience for the driver.
