Seat Leon SE for business users launched

With companies looking at their bottom line to boost profitability and productivity, a new Seat Leon from the enterprising carmaker is geared towards business car drivers.

Called the Seat Leon SE Technology Business it delivers the latest technology and incredible value.

It also has the lowest BIK tax burden of any business-specific cars on the market today. The 1.6 TDI-powered car has 99g/km and its benefit in kind tax rate is 18% in the ST guise and 17% in the five door format.

Drivers have the choice between a 1.6 TDI which should return 74 mpg while delivering 110PS. There’s also a 2.0 TDI unit which produces 150PS and will return 74mpg.

Seat Leon is available in a Sports Tourer (ST) body style

This edition of the Seat Leon is available in a Sports Tourer (ST) body style and will cost from £20,650 OTR. Seat say a five door version will be available from early next year.

For those business drivers who are racking up a lot of miles, the new Seat Leon comes with a technology pack that includes rear parking sensors and adaptive cruise control. There’s also sat nav, DAB and LED headlights.

The idea is to make life easier for drivers and there is an option for a convenience pack too which comes with rain sensor, automatic headlights and auto dimming rearview mirror.

Both versions of the Seat Leon SE Technology Business have been designed to perform well and offer high levels of driver satisfaction with the 2.0litre turbo diesel unit offering the livelier drive.

This unit also powers the five door model from 0 to 62 mph in just over eight seconds and will still manage to return 69 mpg and have emissions of 106g/km.

With its predicted high residual values, the Seat Leon is expected to be a popular choice for fleets as well as small business customers.

Indeed, Seat have been pushing for nearly two years now to generate more business customers from their range and the Seat Leon looks set to continue a trend and be a successful addition to their line-up.
