Fiat are to unveil their new all-wheel drive Panda at next month’s Paris Motor Show.
It replaces the current model which is also the only 4×4 in the A sector. The Panda 4×4 first appeared 30 years ago and this is the third generation ready to tackle ‘mule tracks and the urban jungle’.
The new 4×4 comes with an improved suspension and electronic locking differential. The designers have added a few tweaks to the Panda with visable underbody protection being the biggest. There’s also aluminium inserts in the bumpers.
They’ve also added two new colours to the range: Sicilia orange and Toscana green.
The new Panda is powered by the excellent 84bhp TwinAir Turbo or the 74bhp 1.3 MultiJet diesel.
Prices for the Panda will be announced shortly.
