Next week’s Paris motor show is gearing up to be a cracker with lots of new cars being unveiled.
The new Audi A3
Among them will be the new Audi A3 Sportback. The announcement of this practical, five door model comes just a few days after the new three door version hit the showrooms.
This is a slightly longer model than the one it replaces and it has a bigger boot.
The revamp isn’t really radical style-wise, other than having an extra set of doors but the interior has been given an impressive upgrade.
It’s the third generation of the Audi and buying the five door version is effectively a £620 premium of the three door version.
It’s a popular model choice and the five door outsold its stablemate – and it’s expected that this model will do the same.
The new A3 should be in showrooms early next year with prices starting at £19,825 for the 1.4 TFSI Sportback SE, up to £27,180 for the 1.8 TFSI Sportback S.
