The prices and specification for the new Vauxhall Crossland have been revealed and there’s a lot to like as a compact SUV contract hire car.

The order books are now open, and the Crossland features the firm’s latest design language and comes in a choice of diesel or petrol engines.
Vauxhall says that deliveries for its new Crossland will begin early next year.
The SUV is a striking and well-designed offering with lots of equipment and new LED lights, plus the firm’s new Griffin logo.
Drivers also get to enjoy dark tinted rear lights and a high gloss black tailgate to give the Crossland a wider and more dynamic stance.
Entry-level Vauxhall Crossland
The entry-level Vauxhall Crossland, the SE trim comes with 16-inch wheels, automatic lighting and LED headlights.
It also features a 7-inch display with smartphone connectivity and has speed sign recognition plus lane departure warning.
The next trim is the SE Nav Premium with rear and front parking sensors, LED fog lights and a reversing camera.
There’s also a new ergonomic seat for the driver to boost comfort levels and the firm’s Multimedia Navi Pro infotainment system which has satnav and an 8-inch touchscreen.

The new Vauxhall Crossland also has an SRI Nav model for those who want a sporty appearance and better performance with 17-inch bicolour alloy wheels, skid plates, contrasting roof colours and tinted rear windows.
This model also features the new infotainment system, while the Elite has heated front seats, a leather seat trim and rear parking sensors that use a rearview camera.
The Crossland Elite Nav model has wireless smartphone charging and a panoramic rearview camera.
However, the Elite Nav is not the range-topper for the Crossland range since this title goes to the Ultimate Nav trim with keyless entry and start, Alcantara seat trim, silver roof rails, satnav and the new infotainment system.
Crossland is a great contract hire choice
The Crossland is a great contract hire choice with a range of diesel and petrol engines.
They include a 1.2-litre petrol engine producing 83 PS, and two 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol units producing either 110 PS or 30 PS, and a turbocharged 1.5-litre diesel engine producing either 110 PS or 120 PS and having fuel economy of 62mpg – the petrol engines return 55mpg.
The petrol engines have emissions of around 138g/km, with the diesel units producing 126g/km.
