These are the first official images for the new Vantage Roadster – three years after the Vantage was first unveiled.
It might only be available as a limited edition in ‘selected’ markets but it’s bound to be a seller – despite the £150,000 price tag. That’s a tad pricier than the coupe version but Aston Martin say there are some styling changes.
Among the changes are: a redesigned boot lid and lower front air intake to maintain a level of dynamic performance; revised chassis; modified rear damper set-up plus carbon fibre side strakes; a carbon fibre front splitter and rear diffuser; carbon fibre mirror caps and carbon fibre rear lamp infills – as well as a new forged alloy wheel design.
Even with all these changes it still looks like an Aston Martin.
It will do 0-62mph in 4.5 seconds – that’s compared to 4.2 seconds in the coupe and it has a top speed of 190mph.
Though, sadly, you won’t be seeing one of these in my drive any time soon.
