The Mercedes GLC Coupe will impress
The Mercedes GLC Coupe will start appearing on our roads from September and the stylish vehicle will cost from £40,508.
Mercedes is offering two diesel engines, the 220d and 250d, and the GLC Coupe is the latest addition to the range which is a stylish looking coupe with SUV practicality.
The Mercedes GLC Coupe has a 2.1 litre diesel engine
The entry-level model is the Mercedes GLC 220 which has a 2.1 litre diesel engine producing 170 bhp and should return 57 mpg and emissions of 131g/km.
The GLC 250 also has a 2.1 litre engine but it produces 204 bhp to return the same economy and the same level of emissions with both models being mated to a nine-speed automatic gearbox as standard.
There are two trims available: the Sport and AMG Line with plenty of standard kit including active park assist, reversing camera, keyless start and satnav. There’s also a sports suspension to help deliver decent performance around town and over slippery and rough surfaces.
Mercedes GLC Coupe AMG Line adds a sports steering wheel
The Mercedes GLC Coupe AMG Line adds a sports steering wheel which features a flat bottom, black roof lining and brushed steel sports pedals. The model differs from its sibling with typical AMG body styling kit and 19-inch twin spoke alloy wheels among its features.

Potential owners can also enjoy a range of options including sliding glass sunroof, ambient lighting, as well as an upmarket surround sound system, blindspot assist and an online infotainment system.
The Mercedes GLC Coupe was unveiled at the New York motor show and is being aimed at the likes of the Range Rover Evoque and the BMW X4 and Mercedes is hinting that a plug-in hybrid model will join the range late this year.
