The new contract hire BMW 2 Series Coupe has been unveiled to bring sporting talent to the sector.

BMW says this is the most powerful six-pot in its range and the unit develops 374 hp, that is 34 hp more than the outgoing model, and drivers get torque of 500Nm and a 0 to 62 mph sprint time of 4.3 seconds in the M240i xDrive coupe.
The engine features the latest versions of the firm’s TwinPower turbocharging technology.
There’s also a 2.0-litre petrol unit with four cylinders available, and it offers torque of 300Nm and a sprint time of 7.5 seconds.
Fuel consumption for the new 2 Series Coupe is 45 mpg for the 220i, while for the diesel 220d it is 60 mpg, and for the high-performance M240i xDrive it is 35 mpg.
2 Series car lease range
The power for the 2 Series car lease range is delivered using an eight-speed Steptronic automatic transmission to help deliver driving enjoyment.
The car also features a launch control function that boosts the power and optimal traction from a standing start.
And when on the move, BMW has fitted a sprint function with the transmission shifting automatically into the lowest gear it can use.
Equipment for the new motor
Standard equipment for the new motor includes the BMW Live Cockpit Professional offering, a full digital instrument display and there’s an infotainment screen.
Drivers also get LED interior lighting, three-zone automatic climate control and there’s the option of an electric sunroof.
Options include the M Sport package that adds exterior styling and 19-inch alloy wheels.
The additions help to boost the striking looks and driving dynamics and there’s also a sports transmission, a top-end sound system and the engine note is delivered to the interior to underline the sporty driving experience.
