The contract hire Fiat 500X Hybrid has made its debut and now completes the carmaker’s electrification line-up.
This is the stylish new contract hire Fiat 500X Hybrid which means the carmaker can now offer a low-emissions version for each of its models.
There’s also a new Fiat Tipo Hybrid available for those wanting a stylish saloon.
The new offerings bring lots of technology as Fiat strives to meet growing demand from drivers for innovative and safe technologies in their vehicles.
The latest 500X Hybrid and the Tipo Hybrid are also available in a ‘Special Series’ trim.
Fiat 500X Hybrid car lease range
The power for the new Fiat 500X Hybrid car lease range, and also for the Tipo Hybrid, comes from a new-generation 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine and a 48-volt 15 kW motor.
The petrol unit produces 130 hp and torque of 240Nm and the power is delivered using a new seven-speed automatic dual-clutch transmission.
When starting up, drivers get to enjoy battery power alone for a silent and smooth driving experience, and the advanced hybrid technology will decide whether to use electric or petrol power once moving.
Fiat says the models are its first hybrids that will use electric power alone, with the system disconnecting the petrol engine.
The firm says that drivers can use battery power for 47% of the time, but when driving around town this will increase to 62%.
Hybrid system will mean more efficient driving
Fiat also highlights that the hybrid system will mean more efficient driving under petrol power because it will enable the engine to reach maximum efficiency more quickly.
The 0 to 62 mph sprint time for the for the 500X Hybrid is 9.4 seconds, and slightly quicker for the Tipo Hybrid.
The 500X Hybrid has been a popular choice with more than 750,000 units sold around the world and the new model is also likely to prove popular.
The exterior has been refreshed for 2022, with more dynamic lettering for the Fiat brand name and the logo is new too.
500X and Tipo hybrid lease ranges
Available as either a soft top or hatchback, the 500X and Tipo hybrid lease ranges are available in Club, Cross and Sport trims.
The new Fiat 500X lease model is also packed with equipment, particularly with advanced driver assistance systems.
Drivers get attention assist, autonomous emergency braking, traffic sign recognition and intelligent speed assist.
There’s also lane control, adaptive high beam assistance and blind spot monitoring.
Options include keyless entry and go and a rear-view camera.
The new contract hire Fiat 500X Hybrid and the Tipo Hybrid are available to order now with deliveries beginning in the spring.
