The Greater Manchester charging CAZ was due to be in place by March 2022; it is currently paused because of protest groups making the plan “unworkable” However, the UK Government obligates the council to have a Clean Air Plan. The new, improved plan is still under review (May 23). No decision is expected until 2024. The signs and cameras remain in place but are not enforceable.
