The new model is 200 kg lighter than the car it replaces and the boot is also slightly larger by 100 litres to now measure 1,640 litres in size.

There’s also front and rear seat heating, premium seats and a heated windscreen.
Options for the new car include an all-wheel drive system that features torque vectoring to help drivers put the car through its paces.

Vauxhall has added its excellent infotainment and connectivity IntelliLink system and the firm’s OnStar concierge service with the new version offering more functionality to the Insignia Sports Tourer.
There’s also a lot of safety equipment including improved pedestrian protection thanks to the active aluminium bonnet.
Fans of the Vauxhall Insignia Sports Tourer may also appreciate that the estate is also slightly larger and with a new front end and different stance with its extended wheelbase means the vehicle has a striking appearance.
