Suzuki VITARA Review
SUZUKI VITARA

Which Suzuki Vitara is Ideal for You?

Suzuki Vitara is a 5Dr SUV produced by Japanese manufacturer Suzuki, now in its fifth generation; the Vitara was first released in 1988. Second and third-generation models were known in the UK as the Suzuki Grand Vitara, with this name badge dropped in 2015.

The current Suzuki Vitara it's a well-developed family SUV crossover offering excellent value with plenty of usable technology and functional space.

Suzuki made a reputation for rugged off-road cars during the 1970 and through the 1980s before SUVs became the all-road car that is the current SUV Crossover.

The practical Vitara SUV design gives a good minimum ground clearance with short front and rear overhangs assisting in various off-road conditions, further enhanced by its compact size and lightweight.

The optional Allgrip 4-wheel drive normally operates as a front-wheel drive car for optimum efficiency, and the rear wheels are engaged automatically when extra traction is required.

Mild Hybrid

The Vitara is equipped with Suzuki's Mild Hybrid technology working seamlessly in combination with each other a small electric motor helps the 1.4litre booster jet turbocharged petrol engine when it's under stress, for example, accelerating or going up a hill and then uses the energy created during deceleration to recharge its battery the result better performance with a maximum torque with excellent economy.

Full Hybrid

The automatic version of the Vitara uses a Full Hybrid system with a 1.5-litre petrol engine working seamlessly with a 140V electric motor.

With the electric motor's additional power, the Vitara can run on electricity only for short distances. If you drive at a low and constant speed, the engine will stop, leaving the car running on just the electric motor and re-engaging the petrol engine when more power is required.

Vitara Interior

Inside the car, all models have the comfort of climate-controlled air conditioning and a touch screen that can be operated even by gloved hands. Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ ensure that you can stay connected.

Other benefits of choosing a Contract Hire deal include a low initial payment and the ability to personalise your lease to suit your needs. Plus, with many different Suzuki models available on lease, you can get a higher-specification car for your budget.
