Nissan LEAF Review
NISSAN LEAF

Which Nissan Leaf is Ideal for You?

The latest version of the car has more technology, range, and power. The two models on offer are the standard 39kwh battery which includes an E Peddle and Pro Pilot technology, and this model will give you up to 168 miles, ideal for city or town driving.

The Nissan Leaf E+ with its larger power-enhanced 59kwh battery and a high-power motor capable of delivering over 217 bhp, will give you 239 miles on a single fast charge.

E-Pedal

The E pedal option on the Nissan Leaf gives You instant power and the ability to slow down and regenerate the battery when braking and coasting.

Nissan Pro Pilot

Nissan Pro Pilot allows you to follow the vehicle in front at a pre-set distance, stop, and move again with the traffic flow while keeping you in the middle of the lane. Nissan describes this “as an extra pair of eyes.”

All trim levels on the Nissan Leaf offer a comfortable and spacious cabin with a high level of integrated technology. The large boot is big enough to manage shopping and luggage with ease.

On the outside, the sharp aerodynamic lines, distinctive floating roof and the signature V motion grille give the Leaf a contemporary style.

The entry-level Acenta has the standard 39kwh battery, the E-Peddle, an 8” touch screen entertainment system with a rear-view camera, smartphone app integration, including Apple Carplay® and Android Auto® and complete with a 6.6 kW onboard charger cable.

The N-Connecta trim level gives you additional 2-tone paint options, a heat pack with a heated steering wheel and front seat heating, and the tech pack with a 360-degree colour camera and front and rear parking sensors.

The top-of-the-range Tekna offers additional features like LED headlights and fog lights, part-leather seats with suede trim, the ProPilot™ advanced drive system, and a Bose® seven-speaker sound system.

The N-Connecta and the Tekna are available as E+plus options, giving you the 59-kWh battery with increased range and acceleration. Both trim levels have a good level of standard technology included to make this a choice you should consider when looking at an electric vehicle.

The Nissan Leaf has been available in the UK since 2011, and it has been the benchmark for a small hatchback electric vehicle; since 2011.

The high residual values and the fact that the Nissan Leaf has an 8-year battery warranty make it an excellent option for personal leasing deals.
