Which Hyundai Tucson is Ideal for You?

The South Korean manufacturer has made this compact crossover SUV since 2004. Named after and pronounced like the city of Tucson in Arizona, it is now in its 4th generation, with over 7 million units sold worldwide.

This latest Tucson version features a distinctive jewel-like grille with daytime running lights integrated into its design. The Tucson comes with a wide range of models and powertrains and has a high level of integrated technology.

Digital Dashboard

Tucson has new sportier looks and plenty of usable cabin space; the interior has a refined, open, and spacious feel that is genuinely forward-thinking; a key highlight is the brand new 10.25” smart navigation touch screen with blue link fitted across the range integrated within the console, and it provides an array of functions.

The 10.25” open digital instrument cluster is fitted as standard across the range. The gear selector utilising shift by wire includes buttons integrated into the centre console for easy driver usability.

Krell Sound

The premium Krell sound system delivers 8 high-performance speakers, including an optimising subwoofer.

Powertrains

The 1.6-litre T-GDi (Turbo-Gasoline Direct Injection) Smartstream petrol engine is available with 150PS (PS -Pferdstärke or bhp) and a six-speed manual or automatic transmission and two-wheel drive. This engine is also available as a 180PS DCT auto 4-wheel drive.

There is also a self-charging Hybrid powered by the 1.6-litre T-GDi petrol engine and a 44kW electric motor supplied by a 1.49kWh lithium-ion battery producing 230PS.

PHEV Plug-in-Hybrid uses the same 1.6ltre petrol engine with a 66.9kW electric motor with a power output of 265PS. The 13.8kWh polymer battery allows for 35*miles of pure electric driving on a full charge, ideal for ULEZ city zones.
