A new model has been unveiled with more spec called the Icon Plus.
The car sits below the flagship vehicle and comes complete with heated front sports seats, retracting door mirrors and rear privacy glass.
The model also extends the Hybrid grades to Icon, Icon Plus and Excel.
New grade announced with the Icon Plus
The vehicle is available to order now, and Toyota have added some very interesting to the car including its impressive Touch 2 touchscreen navigation and multimedia control system.
This British built car is an all-round winner and the first of the range’s midlife refresh changes to be announced.
The vehicle builds on the Icon spec by adding cruise control and alloy wheels and there’s a new metallic paint option of Tungsten Blue.
Icon Plus Hybrid availability extended
There’s also a growing demand for the Hybrid version with the efficient vehicle now outselling the diesel and petrol versions. The new Icon Plus grade will be extended to offering the firm’s excellent Hybrid Synergy drive unit also.
Options for the range have also been improved and owners can specify whether they wanted panoramic roof and/or leather upholstery.
The company also offers an interesting range of additional packs such as the Parking Pack for the Icon Plus grade which includes front and rear parking sensors while the Protection Pack adds a boot liner, scuff plate, mudflaps and bumper protection.

There’s also a new Chrome Pack which will add a boot trim and side sills in chrome with owners also able to choose from a range of four custom alloy wheel designs.
Deliveries for the Icon Plus begin in June and prices start at £14,959 for the five door hatchback and rising to £23,990 for the Toyota Auris Hybrid Synergy Drive Touring Sports version.
