The Porsche Panamera Turbo S just got a little bit better

It is an all-wheel drive, four door, four seater which, Porsche claims, epitomises their Gran charisma concept and features advanced adaptive chassis technology.

There’s also an uprated 570 hp twin-turbocharged V8 engine under the Porsche Panamera Turbo S’s bonnet which will reach 0-62mph in just 3.8 seconds. That sort of performance is not necessarily reflected in its fuel economy figure which is 27.7 mpg on the combined cycle.

The Porsche Panamera Turbo S has 20 inch 911 Turbo II wheels which are slightly larger but significantly wider than the wheels found on the standard models in the Panamera range.

Porsche Panamera Turbo S has ‘exclusivity’

There’s also a new exterior metallic paint called Palladium which is only available for the Porsche Panamera Turbo S which, the carmaker claims, helps to bring an air of ‘exclusivity’.

Perhaps the biggest difference between this model and its siblings is that there is a 50 hp boost in power thanks to two new Turbochargers with larger compressors being fitted to the Turbo S. This means that there is an increase in airflow which allows more air to be injected into the combustion chambers.

Despite the fact the new engine is faster it is also more than 10% more efficient than the previous model.

Impressive top speed for the Porsche Panamera Turbo S

The top speed for the Porsche Panamera Turbo S is 192 mph and it is fitted with Porsche ceramic composite brakes are standard with yellow painted brake calipers.

The interior for the Porsche Panamera Turbo S consists of a two-term leather trim fitted as standard and there is Porsche active suspension management which is air suspension with an adaptive damper control also fitted as standard.

The Porsche Panamera Turbo S is likely to be very popular with diehard Porsche fans will have to shell out £131,049 for this impressive car which is on sale now with deliveries scheduled for January 2014.
