Vauxhall have brought in a range of design and chassis changes to the Insignia VXR SuperSport, as well as the rest of the popular Insignia range, with the car available as either a Sports Tourer or a hatch.

Both have an engine that will produce 325PS and have extensive restyling in the front and rear with some exclusive touches such as ‘saber-tooth’ detailing at the front and a tailpipe trim.

The car maker has also revamped the Insignia VXR SuperSport’s adaptive all-wheel-drive chassis: around 60% of the vehicle’s rear suspension have been revised and the front struts have been tweaked to allow hard cornering without losing control of the car.

In addition, the car has precise handling which controls understeer and the damper software has been upgraded.

In addition, NVH (Noise Vibration Harshness) behaviour has been fine-tuned to achieve greater refinement for occupants, enhancing the SuperSport’s credentials as one of the UK’s best-value performance saloon cars.
