The order books have opened on the all-new contract hire DS DS 4 premium hatchback.

The all-new DS DS 4 car lease model has had its order books opened with prices starting at £25,350.

The line-up features three models, the DS 4, the Cross and Performance Line derivatives.

Delivery for the range will start early next year.

The new DS 4 has equipment not normally seen in the segment including a night vision system to detect hazards in the road ahead and these objects are then projected onto the screen for the driver to avoid, if necessary.

All powertrains for the DS 4 are mated with the firm’s eight-speed automatic gearbox.

The new model features a fresh exterior design that includes a new light signature, and there’s a new interior using refined materials.

The model also features premium technology including a full HD infotainment display that utilises over-the-air updates.

It’s operated using voice recognition and a personal assistant.

DS has also added an extended head-up display that will project key information about the car’s performance onto the windscreen.

DS says that its new DS 4 car lease model is suited to families wanting a practical and stylish premium hatchback.

It is packed with equipment while the Performance Line model has 19-inch alloy wheels, a black Alcantara interior as well as rear and front parking sensors and a reversing camera.

There’s also a 10-inch central display and a digital instrument cluster.

The DS 4 Cross comes with extra exterior kit to protect it, plus the firm’s Advanced Traction Control system to deliver better grip over slippery surfaces.

Drivers will also like the firm’s Active Scan Suspension set up that uses a camera to scan the road ahead and then its sensors will control each of the car’s wheels independently to deliver a smooth ride.
