The iX lease range includes the xDrive50 which offers a range of 380 miles and a combined output of 523hp.
There’s also the xDrive40 that offers 257 miles and a combined output of 326hp.
Both models feature BMW’s intelligent all-wheel drive system.
The iX has also been designed to make charging easier and using a fast charger, both batteries can be recharged in 31 to 35 minutes.
Lots of equipment
Drivers also get lots of equipment including 21-inch alloy wheels, parking assistant, climate comfort windscreen and the firm’s ‘Live Cockpit Professional’.
There’s also Driving System Professional, heated front seats, four-zone air-conditioning and wireless phone charging.
BMW is also offering a range of packs to deliver extras that drivers may want to use to personalise their iX to meet their everyday needs.
And despite the size, the iX delivers real performance with the xDrive 50 sprinting from 0 to 62 mph in 4.6 seconds – the smaller battery does this in 6.1 seconds.
The BMW iX lease
For those who want an eco-aware car, the BMW iX lease offers a futuristic creation with a focus on sustainability.
BMW has reused extensively plastics and aluminium to create the car and the interior features leather that has been stained with olive leaves, and the wood is FSC-certified.
The mats and floor coverings are, for example, made with recycled fishing nets.
Options for the iX include various packs that will add a top-end sound system, fully electric massaging seats, rear and front seat heating and soft-closing doors.
