The excellent all-new Skoda Fabia car lease range has been unveiled, and it’s an excellent supermini.

It’s the fourth generation of the popular car and the boot has grown by 50 litres to 380 litres with an exterior revamp.

Skoda says the new Fabia offers value for money, lots of practicality and functionality and some very clever features.

The new Fabia will be available in the UK early next year.

There are nine body colours to choose from, including Phoenix Orange and there’s a contrast-coloured roof option for some models.

Drivers have the option of fitting steel wheels of either 14-inches or 15-inches, or with alloys ranging from 15-inches to 18-inches.

Engines for the new Fabia include three-cylinder petrol units which consist of a 1.0-litre unit, or a turbocharged alternative.

Entry-level Fabia model

The entry-level Fabia model has a power output of 64 bhp or 79 bhp, with the power being delivered by a five-speed manual transmission.

The turbocharged versions produce 94 bhp with torque of 115Nm with the manual gearbox.

The six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic dual clutch transmission sees the engine output being boosted to 109 bhp with torque of 200Nm.

The range-topper will have a 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine producing 148 bhp with torque of 250Nm.

Fuel economy for the new Fabia is around 56 mpg, with emissions of 113g/km.

Equipment to enjoy with the stylish Fabia

There is a lot of equipment to enjoy with the stylish Fabia including a 6.5-inch infotainment display – or an eight-inch touchscreen for the better spec models.

The more expensive versions have a 9.2-inch display with satnav – which also incorporates a Wi-Fi hotspot.

There are five USB ports and features include ambient lighting, a heated windscreen, a heated steering wheel and dual-zone climate control.

Other features on the new model include a parking ticket holder and there’s also an umbrella ready for use in the driver’s door.

The full specification and prices have yet to be revealed for the new Skoda Fabia car lease range which goes on sale later this year, but it has always been a popular choice and the new version looks to extend its popularity.
