Contract hire Kia EV6
The contract hire Kia EV6 is the first to use the firm’s electric-global modular platform and will only have battery power.
Kia says the EV6 has been designed as a battery-powered offering and is capable of ultrafast charging capabilities as standard.
That means using a fast charger will see the battery being recharged to 80% in just 18 minutes.
There are five seats in this stylish electric crossover and a curved panoramic display that has two 12.3-inch touchscreens set into the dashboard.
The system is also smartphone compatible and there’s a battery heat pump to help the DV6 deliver great performance in sub-zero temperatures.
Equipment for the EV6
Standard equipment for the EV6 includes 19-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, ambient lighting and vegan leather upholstery.
There’s also automatic air-conditioning, heated front seats, rear parking sensors and a satnav with smart cruise control.
Other models feature larger alloy wheels, front parking sensors, wireless smartphone charging and premium relaxation seats.
The range-topper is the EV6 GT which has exterior styling tweaks, 21-inch wheels, electronically controlled suspension for a smooth ride and bucket seats.
Impressive EV6 GT
The impressive EV6 GT will not arrive in the UK until next year but will have two electric motors that deliver 577 bhp.
That power will deliver a 0 to 62 mph sprint time of 3.5 seconds – though the battery range falls to around 260 miles.
The EV6’s top speed will be 162 mph which puts it on a par with the excellent Porsche Taycan.
The Kia EV6 specification makes this an interesting all-electric vehicle to consider with zero emissions and an impressive range.
