The new Mercedes EQB car leasing model will impress anyone wanting a spacious all-electric car.
This is the excellent Mercedes EQB car leasing offering and it’s a seven-seater that is all-electric.
The full specification and prices will be revealed later this year, but Mercedes says that the EQB will consist of all-wheel and front-wheel drive models.
Drivers will also get a choice of batteries including a 66.5kWh offering – alongside a battery delivering a long range.
The battery will be mated to a motor delivering 268 bhp so there will be plenty of power for driving around town and on motorways.
It will be unveiled in China first with a model offering a range of 260 miles.
Contract hire Mercedes EQB
The contract hire Mercedes EQB is based on the GLB platform which is a subcompact and stylish SUV.
It’s also the latest in the firm’s EQ-branded EVs and now sits alongside the EQC and the EQA.
And with its seven-seat offering, it will have the edge over the new Volkswagen ID.4, as well as the Audi Q4 e-tron.
The new EQB will also have a continuous light strip at the rear and front to help make it a distinctive offering.
There’s also satnav fitted as standard with the firm’s ‘Electric Intelligence’ which will calculate the quickest route between to a destination and then work out where the driver needs to stop should they need to top-up the battery.

There’s also plenty of space onboard this SUV and Mercedes says it will handle just like a compact estate car.
The third row of two seats will be available as an option and there’s plenty of safety kit including side window bags, and full head restraints for those in the rear seats.
Essentially, the interior will closely resemble that of the GLB with various trim adjustments but still having a widescreen infotainment system.
Mercedes will be using two 10.25-inch displays for the infotainment screen and the instrument panel.
Boot size for the EQB lease
The boot size for the EQB lease is 495 litres, while the seven-seater will offer 465 litres with the rear seats folded flat.
Alongside the battery’s range, the recharging times are also important issues and Mercedes says that when using a fast charger, the EQB can be recharged to 80% of its capacity in just 30 minutes.
Other safety features include active brake assist and lane-keeping assist.
There’s also an extensive semi-autonomous driving system available as an option.
