This is the firm’s flagship SUV, and it has been a popular choice in the UK since it was first unveiled in 2001.

It’s a spacious and well-designed offering with an attractive exterior design.

The Santa Fe also has lots of new safety and technology features.

Indeed, the Santa Fe car leasing range has lots of safety equipment including driver attention alert, downhill brake control and a blind-spot collision system.

Drivers also get to enjoy reverse and forward parking distance warning, lane departure warning assist and a forward collision avoidance system that detects pedestrians, bicycles and cars.

There’s also an impressive eCall system that will contact the emergency services should it detect the vehicle has been involved in an accident.

The engines for the new Santa Fe include the hybrid producing 230 PS, or the plug-in hybrid choice delivering 265 PS.

The latter has emissions of 37g/km to make it an attractive contract hire choice for company car drivers wanting a low Benefit-in-Kind rate.

The power is distributed using a six-speed automatic transmission and most models are two-wheel drive but there’s also the firm’s all-wheel drive system available, HTRAC.

To keep things simple, Hyundai is offering the Santa Fe with two trims, but they are both packed with equipment.

The Premium model costs from £40,205 and features privacy glass, 17-inch alloy wheels, an electrically adjustable driver’s seat, dual-zone climate control and adaptive cruise control.

Drivers also get a rear camera as well as a rear parking system.

Santa Fe Ultimate trim
