Skoda Scala adds an option for company car drivers

The Skoda Scala SE Technology has been unveiled and is aimed at company car drivers wanting more for their contract hire car money.

There’s a new trim for the contract hire Skoda Scala which will add more equipment for meeting the needs of company and drivers.

As a car leasing opportunity, there’s a lot to like about the Scala SE Technology model.

The practical five-door offering has been a popular choice with British drivers since being unveiled in 2019.

The entry level model starts at £18,625 and there are five petrol engine and transmission combinations to choose from.

The contract hire Skoda Scala has a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine producing either 95 PS or 110 PS.

There’s also a 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine developing 150 PS which has the option of the firm’s seven-speed DSG automatic transmission.

The equipment list has been developed with business drivers in mind and adds 16-inch alloy wheels, rear LED lights plus chrome window surrounds.

There’s also a 9.2-inch glass touchscreen for the satnav system which also features traffic sign recognition and a web radio.

Other features for the Skoda Scala car lease include rear and front parking sensors and the premium for the trim is just £400 over the standard SE model – but with some expensive options added as standard.

The Scala has won a number of awards with a strong presence in the fleet sector and the SE Technology models have been reaching lots of satisfied drivers.

The SE Technology trim is also available on the Octavia, Karoq and Superb to make those models more interesting for company car drivers.

Fuel consumption for the Scala range is from 47mpg to 55mpg, with emissions ranging from 119g/km to 135g/km.

The interior has been well designed and features air-conditioning with a pollen filter, electric windows and a leather multifunction steering wheel.

Equipment for the Scala

Safety equipment for the Scala includes cruise control, hill hold control and front assist.

There’s also lane keeping assist, a rain and wind sensor along with tyre pressure monitoring.

There’s also an ice scraper hidden in the fuel refilling cap and a 12 V socket is an option for the cabin.

As a family car, and as a contract hire choice, the Skoda Scala has a lot to offer for the money and it makes for a sound car leasing vehicle.
