The new Citroen C-Series is a trim that will be available for the firm’s C3, C3 Aircross and C5 Aircross cars.
A new budget-friendly trim has been unveiled for anyone interested in the Citroen C3, C3 Aircross and the firm’s C5 Aircross models.
While Citroen says that the C-Series trim is mainly aimed at online car buyers, you can still order the spec from car showrooms and car leasing firms.
Essentially, the C-Series groups together the range’s most popular equipment choices and are fitted to the cars as standard kit.
The Citroen C3 C-Series has prices starting at £13,980 with standard equipment including rear privacy glass, LED headlights and 16-inch alloy wheels.
C3 C-Series
The C3 C-Series also comes with a contrasting onyx black roof.
There’s also a 7-inch infotainment display, automatic air conditioning and smartphone connectivity.
Safety equipment fitted as standard on the C3 C-Series includes cruise control, lane-departure warning, rear parking sensors and a traffic sign recognition system.
Soft sand metallic paint also comes as standard, though there are four other options of colours to choose at an extra cost.
Contract hire C3 model
Power for the contract hire C3 model comes from the firm’s 1.2-litre petrol engine with three-cylinders which produces 82bhp.
Fuel economy is around 50mpg and the engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
The Citroen C3 Aircross C-Series has similar equipment and will cost from £17,000 and includes automatic lights, a soft-touch dashboard and automatic air conditioning.

The model also comes with a turbocharged version of the 1.2-litre petrol unit to produce 109bhp and makes for a good car leasing choice as a family car.
The Citroen C5 Aircross C-Series has 18-inch alloy wheels, rear privacy glass and LED headlights.
Other standard kit includes TomTom live traffic updates, branded floor mats, USB ports, all-round parking sensors and a reversing camera.
The offering is fairly similar to the current model’s Shine trim and the prices start at £25,755.
