The new BMW 4 Series Convertible offers drivers an exhilarating driving experience and sporting prowess in an incredible package.

There’s also a diverse line-up of ranges to enjoy, plus advanced chassis technology to deliver the excellent levels of handling.

The new soft-top is also bringing strong competition to the likes of the Audi A5 Cabriolet and also the Mercedes C Class Cabriolet.

BMW has also added a lot of equipment as standard to help deliver a pleasurable car to enjoy.

Similar to the 4 Series Coupe

The styling is similar to the 4 Series Coupe with some sharper lines for the convertible version.

The M Sport specification is standard across all models, and for those who need a performance focussed BMW, the M Sport Pro Edition is for you.

BMW is also offering its Technology Pack as a specification upgrade to boost personalisation levels.

The new addition to the engines is a six-cylinder unit delivering 374 bhp, and using an eight-speed Steptronic gearbox to deliver the power effectively.

The handling is also boosted by the firm’s intelligent all-wheel drive system, xDrive.

The BMW 4 Series Convertible will be an excellent car leasing opportunity and launches in March 2021, with a choice of two petrol engines or a four-cylinder diesel unit.

More powerful diesel engines will be available later next year.

The open-top four-seater also offers the brand’s new design language, and it is slightly larger than the model it replaces.

It’s also clearly different from the excellent new BMW 3 Series Saloon with full-LED headlights being fitted as standard.

Drivers also get to enjoy a driver-centric cockpit with an instrument cluster and control display and easy to use controls.

Economy for the 4 Series Convertible

Performance and economy for the 4 Series Convertible are boosted with mild-hybrid technology with a 48v starter-generator along with a second battery that is topped up by the car’s braking energy.

Engine outputs include a 184 bhp unit for the BMW 420i sDrive Convertible which should return around 50 mpg and have emissions of 131g/km.

The diesel engine available from launch will return 68 mpg with emissions of 111g/km.

Safety kit includes park distance control, a front collision warning system with braking intervention, along with lane departure warning. A reversing assistant and a reversing camera are also fitted as standard.

The new BMW 4 Series Convertible is available to order now and is priced from £45,780, with car lease deals being available closer to the official launch.
