Prices for the new Renault Scenic revealed

All-new Renault Scenic has pricing and spec revealed.

It’s been a popular people carrier for many years now and the all-new Renault Scenic will be available to order from 1 December.

Along with the Scenic, there will also be a new Grand Scenic with the entry level models costing from £21,445 OTR.

This is the fourth-generation of the Scenic and there’s a 21 strong model line-up with four trim levels.

New Renault Scenic has a number of firsts

The new Renault Scenic also has a number of firsts including a unique in-class pedestrian detection and braking system.

It should also prove to be a cheap MPV to run with a choice of three very good diesel engines returning up to 73 mpg and two petrol engines.

And from spring 2017, the Renault Scenic will also have the option of a hybrid model which will return 81 mpg on the combined cycle with emissions of 92g/km.

Renault Scenic First Vehicle Leasing 2The all-new Renault Scenic also has the largest boot in its class with owners enjoying 572 litres and there’s also a five-star Euro NCAP crash rating to ensure occupants remain safe in an accident.

While some drivers may have been put off by the design of the Scenic, the new generation features a distinctive look which will ensure it remains eye-catching on our roads.

There’s also a lot of equipment on board, even the basic model comes with traffic sign recognition, lane departure warning as well as electronic parking brake, automatic dual zone climate control and LED daytime running lights.

The Renault Scenic also comes with automatic wipers and headlights, DAB radio, Bluetooth connectivity and a 7-inch touchscreen. However, most owners will be intrigued by the F1-style integrated fuel cap which makes refuelling easier.

Other models in the range come with speed limiter and cruise control, adjustable steering column and driver seat, and electric front socket and gearshift indicator.

Renault has undergone something of a renaissance in the last couple of years and has gone from a carmaker producing uninspired cars to one that has the newest model range currently on sale.

Along with the new Scenic and Grand Scenic, there’s also the excellent Kadjar, Megane and the Sport Tourer. Orders for the new Renault Scenic and Grand Scenic will be delivered from late December.
