Carmaker has decided to widen its Skoda Yeti Monte Carlo offering

The carmaker has decided to widen its Skoda Yeti Monte Carlo offering which was previously only available with a 2.0 litre diesel engine producing 150 PS. This is an excellent performer and returns 63 mpg while the 1.2 litre TSI engine will return 45 mpg; both are good for the limited off road use but the good performance is matched with comfortable driving at speed on the motorway.

Standard equipment for the new variants includes super sport leather steering wheel with multi-functions, sports seats and floor mats. There’s also special door sill trims and a new instrument cluster.

The Skoda Yeti was an unusual design when launched but it found a market with strong car-like handling and the option of two- or four-wheel drive; both are good performers though the all-wheel drive function gives better grip across a variety of surfaces.

The new variants are distinctive with black spoilers and roof as well as black door mirrors. The car has also has Monte Carlo badging.

Available to order now, prices for the Skoda Yeti start at £19,700 for the 1.2 TSI petrol engine coupled to the manual gearbox and for the 2.0 litre TDI engine, prices start at £21,045.
