The DS 3 gets a revamp for 2016

The new DS 3 first vehicle leasingIt no longer looks like a Citroen now the DS 3 has been revamped for 2016 with a smart new look, higher spec and technology gains.

There’s also a new flagship DS 3 called the ‘Performance’ (previously known as the DS 3 Racing) which has an engine that produces 205 bhp from a 1.6 litre turbo petrol unit.

The new look brings the facelift into line with its DS 4 and DS 5 stablemates and includes a new nose.

The DS 3 supermini is popular in the UK and drivers will get to enjoy new alloy wheel designs and re-profiled rear lights.

DS is also adding a longer list of personalisation options for drivers which include four roof finishes and 10 roof decals.

There’s also an incredible list of trim and colour combinations for the DS 3 Cabrio.

Designers have also revamped the interior and there are new trims and colour combinations which help to give the car its upmarket look.

Among the new tech additions is a 7-inch touchscreen which has smartphone connectivity and there’s also the firm’s ‘Connect Box’ option which will call the emergency services when needed.

Standard equipment includes a reversing camera, parking sensors and hill start assist. There’s a good range of engines, including two BlueHDi diesels and a 1.2 litre PureTech three-cylinder turbo petrol unit.

DS is yet to reveal the prices for its revamped DS 3 but the new range will be in showrooms from February with deliveries starting in April.
