In addition to a redeveloped seven speed S-tronic and eight speed tiptronic transmissions, the six speed manual gearbox has also been reworked.
Audi have also taken the opportunity of creating an all-new platform and the car now has the lowest drag coefficient its class.
Standard kit for the Audi A4 include the firm’s smart phone interface, three zone climate control, 7 inch colour touchscreen and 17 inch alloy wheels.
There’s also an impressive array of in-car technology options for potential buyers to choose from including Audi’s virtual cockpit and a predictive efficiency assist to help ‘greener’ driving.
