Fleets urged to drive for better business

Major leasing and fleet companies are being encouraged to support a government-backed programme to improve road safety.

As part of Driving for Better Business, they can sign up for a free monthly eNewsletter which will provide useful and up-to-date information on subjects related to safer driving for work.

By registering for the newsletter, participating companies will become part of the Driving for Better Business network that is committed to work related road safety.

The network already includes some of the biggest names in fleet management and leasing as well as high profile companies such as Tesco.com, BT and T-Mobile.

The programme is being managed by RoadSafe and is designed to empower business leaders to demonstrate how managing work related road safety has business benefits.

According to RoadSafe, fleet and leasing companies are key to this process and, are well placed to spread the word about the importance of putting in place work related road safety policies.

The website will also run regular flash polls on relevant road safety subjects, the results of which will be shared with Driving for Better Business supporters.
